great things that happened this week:

i discovered how funny my future roommate, nicolina, is.

situation 1: we are at work. bosslady keeps calling me jodie.

nicolina, " Jodie! what an ugly name. its like an 80s ice-skater name."

like this girl. she's a jodie.
then, my boss heard her, and it was just an awkward moment for both of us.

situation 2: i don't actually remember the situation, just her comment.
   "I like fake things. I like fake cocktails, you know like mocktail parties. And fake murders."

More reasons why this world is awesome?

1. I was walking into Polisci and a huge man walked out. He was dressed kinda like a gangster. And I mean huge. And as he passes, I look to the left. And another boy looks at me, and says, "whoa." 
2. As I walk down the stairs I hear a boy say, "ah, ah yeah. AH yeeah. I like this song. Ooooh this song is good. I'm liking it." And you look, and he is just jamming out to his iPod. 
3. I got a letter from my white-coated Asian. [mardi]. so good. and he sounds just like mardi.
4. i woke up this morning from an intense dream. and the only thing I could think, "there's a bomb in the oven, I'm serious." Only Kristen Martinez would understand why this is great. but then I looked up the scene to post. and we were quoting it wrong the whole time. oh well. here is the link: click here to see the lasagna explode.
