i can relate.

relate to what? relate to everyone who is just done with school. only 2 more papers, 4 more tests, 4 more classes. That is doable. Right? In the words of my sister, "Correctamundo."

cool.

question to myself, slash everyone.
do i look demonic, or simply Russian as I practice walking down campus not smiling.
fact: i'm horrible at it.
fact: i feel mean when i do it.

easters. it was good. great, in fact. i taught Relief Society. which was kind of daunting. because, honestly the Atonement is so hard to fathom. Everything about it is complex. I mean, I know the idea of it contains much simplicity. But, trying to understand how the suffering in Gethsemane, and the suffering on the Cross pays for my sins. seriously, mind-boggling. I chose to teach about the grace of God, and how it can, and should, be applied in our lives. Because, I believe that often times we feel like we have to do everything on our own, when in reality that is part of the atonement.

But it really was cool to read many talks on the Atonement, and some books.

I'm reading The Infinite Atonement right now by Tad R. Callister. So far, I like it better than The Continuous Atonement by Brad Wilcox, because it is a little more intellectual, as well as more backed by scripture--rather than experiences. Which, experience is wonderful to hear about, too, because it gives hope. But, I like to have the doctrine placed in front of me. Read them both, I would suggest. It can't hurt.

Also, maybe watch this video:
He Is Risen
It truly is powerful. Powerful to know that He really did suffer for us. And, that he also broke the bonds of death, allowing us to also break the bonds. Which is amazing, because having a resurrected body is a requirement to be able to reside with our Heavenly Father again. And, I think this movie depicts his last week pretty well.

Best,

K. Billy.
