moscow. i am in moscow.
we took an overnight train. and after being able to fill a whole camel's hump with my tears...
it was quite the ride.
there were 300 soldiers on my train.
who snored.
and coughed.
and weren't very conducive to sleeping.
not to mention, i felt disgusting.
because...get ready for it:
water randomly is turned off in Russia during June.
so i hadn't showered in 4 days.
gross.
sorry for telling you.
don't worry.
i've showered since then.
[also, please note that it was not just me who was in this problem.]
so that just set me up for a crazy first day in moscow.
we saw basil's cathedral:
we watched the changing of the guards at the eternal flame:
and then we went to a picnic at one of Catherine the Second's palaces:
seriously: stunning.

Kylie! I love reading about your travels. Can't wait to hear more. If I ever go to Russia I'm taking u as my guide.
ReplyDeleteKristen! I will go back in a heartbeat. Also, I found matroyshka dolls in prague that have obama. so..if you are willing to swap obama for justin bieber, let me know.
