The gospel is so true. Anywhere you go in the world you will find members. You will feel at home. And you will be able to draw nearer to our Heavenly Father. The hymns will be the same, even if they are in different languages. And the sacrament services will be the same. The way the branch/ward is set up will be the same.
The teachings of the gospel will be the same. And the spirit will reside, just the same.
It is so great to belong to a church like this. And it is great that we are such a community of love and service.
Today I bore my testimony. It felt good to bear it in a different language. But mostly because it resonates with you as you bear a simple testimony. And just as I hoped the people of Nizhniy to know, all my friends should know too:
I have a strong testimony that our Heavenly Father is there for us. He is there if we pray. He wants to help us, because He loves us infinitely. He has sent us a prophet to guide us, and lead us to live with Him again. His spirit can comfort us. And He knows what we need, and what we want, and what we are doing to try to live like Him and His Son. He gave His Son for us, so that we could live with Him again, because He loves us so much. He gave us the Book of Mormon for extra guidance, and extra truth, and extra comfort to know that our Father cares about us. I know that the gospel teaches true principles, and if we but follow the teachings, we can live with our Father and with our families forever. He wants to help us. I know that He is just waiting for us to turn to Him.
Have a good sabbath, my friends.
See you in 5 weeks time.
K. Billy.
