no shoes.

there is something about being here in prague that makes me want to revert back to a natural way of living. and by that i mean: i want to take danielle's birkenstocks off [although i am thoroughly converted to them.] and put my feet in the cold grass and dirt, and run. preferably through a forest.

the thing that confuses me is that i haven't really seen a forest here in prague.
but, i have a couple theories as to why. and in a couple, i really mean just one theory.

danielle and i found a little park on sunday. at this park we watched a dad velcro knee pads on his son, and teach him to roller blade. we saw a little european family with their little european dog, pushing a little stroller. we sat on a bench next to bees pollinating the many little flowers.

today we went back to that same park. and as we lied there, we listened to the Royal Fanfare of Belgium play. it was one of the happiest moments in my life. just laying in the sun, on the grass. soaking in europe. and it is this love of soaking in europe, that makes me want to revert back to a natural way of living.

but i will gladly take an afternoon in a park in prague instead.

danielle and me in the park.
look at that sky.

Seriously, witty anecdotes are not required. Comment, crazies! I wanna hear about your lives, too!
