I Do the Hokey Pokey

Okay, to begin with: roll your eyes. Now that you have decidedly written off my blog for one of those: I'm a perfect house-wife, or newly-wed wife blogs you can get down to the (as Nacho Libre would say) Nitty Gritty. Who is this Kylie Anne Martinez? And what is she all about?

The hokey pokey. That's what. Because isn't that what life is all about? I'm being perfectly serious. We are always dancing our way around tasks, and in this huge circle of society, where everyone seems to have the moves down. Well...I, Kylie Anne, am here to tell you: the hokey pokey has no perfect form. And no one has it down right.

Complete unrelated business: (When I was about 4, I went to a preschool called Head Start, and I just remember doing the Hokey Pokey for a talent show thing.)

Can I just say: My house is never perfectly clean, I don't fold my laundry right when it comes out of the dryer, and...I don't have a nice home-cooked meal for my husband every day when he comes home, in fact he is making me tacos right now. Yum!

But Chad and I still do some pretty fabulous things: we go snowboarding, play word games, and drink hot cocoa on a regular basis. If that isn't a lovely life...then we gotta change that.

Anyways. Stay tuned to get to know the Martinez Family.
And pretty much see some cool things that we do.
